| | Mr. Angus joined Stuart Lammert & Co. as a Managing Director in 2004. Prior to joining Stuart Lammert & Co., Mr. Angus was head of the Canadian Financial Institutions effort for UBS and, prior to joining UBS, President of Lehman Brothers, Canada. Previously, he was responsible for opening the offices of Goldman Sachs & Co., Canada. Over his thirty years of investment banking experience, Mr. Angus has had particular expertise in advising governments and the companies they own and regulate, including financial services and utilities. As such, he has advised the governments of Canada and the United States, various government regulatory agencies, government-owned enterprises, the World Bank, and various financial institutions and utilities. Clients have included the Canadian Department of Finance, the Canadian Wheat Board, the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, the Bank of Montreal, the Bank of Nova Scotia, Laurentian Bank, HSBC, Grupo Santander, Canada Life, and the Great-West Life and Annuity Insurance Company. Mr. Angus' assignments include advising The Office of the Superintendent (Canada) in the demutualization of the insurance companies in Canada, advising the Office of Management and Budget of the President of the United States concerning the restructuring of the Tennessee Valley Authority, restructuring of the New York Municipal Transportation debt, the financing of the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, and the restructuring and privatization of both Petro Canada and NavCanada. He has also been an advisor to the Power Workers Union during the commercialization of Ontario Hydro and on the privatization of the successor companies, Ontario Power Generation Inc. and Hydro One Inc. Mr. Angus has been a member of the Auditor General Special Audit team and is Chairman of Home Capital Group Inc. and Home Trust Company. Mr. Angus has a BA from the University of British Columbia and resides in Connecticut. | |
